L’Oréal is honored to attend today’s event as the chairman of theCIIE Enterprise Alliance on the 50-day countdown to the CIIE, andwe are excited to meet you all offline for the first time this year. 

非常高兴，能在进博会倒计时50天之际，作为展盟主席，参加今天的活动，也非常激动今年第一次和大家在线下相聚。

This year is a very unusual one. Despite the uncertainty of theexternal environment, the CIIE will be held offline as planned. It isthis kind of certainty that gives the world even more confidence inChina’s sure-footedness and determination to grow with its globalpartners. With this annual edition, the CIIE chalks up the 5th year ofprogress. 

今年是十分不平凡的一年，在充满“不确定”的外部环境中，进博会“明确”将如期在线下举办，这种“确定性”让全世界“确信”：中国与世界共享发展的信心和决心。今年是进博会的五周年。 

Looking over the past five years we can truly say the CIIE hasspawned huge benefits far beyond China’s borders, allowingcompanies to experience solid gains and enjoy tremendous progress. Ibelieve this is why so many companies, like L’Oréal, are back at theCIIE once again and why more and more new partners have joined usas we begin this exciting countdown to the fifth CIIE. 

回首五年，进博会深远的“溢出”效应，像春风一般，温暖了世界和中国，也让企业看到了实实在在的“改变”，体会到了真真切切的“获得感”。我相信，这也是为什么，有那么多企业，像欧莱雅一样，从头回客变成了回头客，从回头客变成了常驻客；也解释了为什么，今天有更多的新伙伴慕名而来，在第五届进博会倒计时50天之际与我们一起再出发。

Over the past five years we have seen countless exhibits at theCIIE going commercial and further growing into best sellers. With the support of the CIIE 6+365 days One-Stop Trading Services Platform, quality products from all over the world have made their way to thehuge Chinese market, becoming part of Chinese consumers’ dailylives.

进博五年，见证了无数展品变商品，更“进一步”从商品变成了爆品——来自全球各地的好物，借助“6+365天”的首发首展和供需对接平台，成为了中国人美好生活的新日常，也叩开了中国超大规模市场的大门。

We have also seen more and more exhibitors turning intoinvestors who have brought local resources to the CIIE while they arealso introduced to the local market. More and more companies haveswitched from being observers to being very active participants withgreater investment and capacity, hoping to have a share of thedevelopment opportunities the Chinese market offers. Despite the pallthat the pandemic has cast over the world in recent years, it has donenothing to curb the enthusiasm of us participants. 

进博五年，见证了越来越多参展商变投资商，更“进一步”从投资商变成了合伙人——从把地方资源引入进博，到带展商走出“四叶草”，走进地方，越来越多企业从看一看，走进来，到留下来，增投资，提能级，与中国的发展共享机遇，即便是疫情也没有影响大家的热情。

Over the past five years, too, we have seen innovativetechnologies opening up huge market and ecosystem, which have thenbeen further managed to offer more innovation. We can truly say theCIIE is a platform more for innovation than for business wheredifferent innovative ideas come up against one other. Star exhibits atthe CIIE have put customization, AI, green low-carbon solutions andother emerging trends under the spotlight and made them new focalpoints for inter-industry innovation. The government have alsoaccelerated the formulation and adoption of new policies that promotethese innovations, with the support of dialogue platforms such as theHongqiao International Economic Forum and committees of the CIIEEnterprise Alliance. 

进博五年，见证了创新科技变创新市场，更“进一步”从创新市场变成了创新制度——进博会不仅是买场和卖场，更是创新理念充分碰撞的平台。个性定制、人工智能、绿色低碳等新兴市场赛道，被进博会的热点展品引爆，依托虹桥论坛及展盟各大专委会的交流平台，成为了跨界创新的新焦点，也给促进创新的新规出台落地按下了加速键。

Some flowers and plants do not confine their blossoms to springbut are perennials, offering joy to the beholder all year round. TheCIIE is that kind of flower. Last year the Enterprise Alliance TopologyAction we launched received an overwhelming response. Members ofthe alliance engaged with many professionals – including industryassociations, upstream and downstream companies, domestic andoverseas partner businesses, high-end individual buyers, media, well-known livestreamers and opinion leaders – encouraging them tobecome part of the vibrant CIIE ecosystem. Today we announce theofficial kick-off of Enterprise Alliance Topology Action of the 5thCIIE. We hope the chairs and vice chairs of all the special committeeswill take the lead and serve as a model, and that all exhibitors willharness the power of the advantages and expertise at their disposal sothat together we can make the fifth CIIE a bigger success. Before theCIIE opens we’ll ensure that exhibitors who have made outstandingcontributions are recognized, by awarding the Topology Action Starmedal. 

一花独放不是春，百花齐放春满园。2021 年，我们发起的参展商联盟拓扑行动，反响热烈，通过展盟成员的影响力，带动了一批行业协会、上下游企业、国内外企业家伙伴、高端个人买家、行业媒体、知名主播、意见领袖等专业观众加入了进博会的“朋友圈”。今天，我们宣布：第五届进博会参展商联盟拓扑行动正式启动，希望各专委会会长、副会长单位，发挥示范引领作用，也希望广大展商朋友，发挥自身优势和特长，积极参与，为第五届进博会越办越好贡献力量。我们计划在今年进博会前，为贡献突出的展商颁发“拓扑行动之星”奖牌。
