58集团本地服务和汽车服务总部项目落地高新区

2月18日，58集团本地服务、汽车服务总部项目签约落户无锡高新区，市长赵建军与58集团董事长姚劲波一行工作会谈并共同见证项目签约。

The Wuxi National High-tech District (WND) signed a contract with China's largest classified online marketplace, 58.com Inc, on Feb 18 for their local and automotive services headquarters project. The signing was witnessed by Wuxi Mayor Zhao Jianjun, who held a work meeting with Yao (Michael) Jinbo, the chairman of 58.com.

此次签约的58集团本地服务和汽车服务项目，均作为未来独立上市总部落地高新区的无锡（国家）软件园，其中58本地服务是全国领先的生活服务到家平台，58汽车服务是行业头部的汽车交易与服务平台，两个项目都处于国内行业龙头位置，是具有高知名度的优秀品牌及链主类公司。

As part of the contract, 58.com's local services and automotive services projects will settle in the Wuxi (National) Software Park, where they will serve as an independent headquarters for the future. Their arrival is expected to further enhance the WND’s technological and economic development. Both 58.com projects, local services and automotive, are industry leaders in China, with renowned brand names and chain-leading companies.

LG化学（中国）技术中心，竣工！

2月22日，LG化学（中国）技术中心竣工仪式在高新区举行，这是全市首个世界500强韩资独立研发中心。

LG Chem (China) celebrated the completion of its independent technical Center in the WND on Feb 22, the first of its kind for the Korean-funded enterprise ranking among the world's top 500.

此次竣工的LG化学（中国）技术中心引进全球先进实验设备，并招聘近百名硕士、博士等专业人才，统筹管理LG化学中国区（无锡、广州、北京、上海）的技术力量，为LG化学在中国区的生产法人提供全方位软硬件技术解决方案及创新服务，并将为无锡高新区产业培育、人才培养、成果转化等做出积极贡献。

The center is now equipped with state-of-the-art laboratory equipment from around the world and has recruited nearly 100 professionals with master's and doctoral degrees. Its role is to coordinate and manage LG Chem's technological capabilities in China, covering operations in Wuxi, Guangzhou, Beijing, and Shanghai. The center aims to provide comprehensive software and hardware technical solutions as well as innovation services for LG Chem's production entities across China. Additionally, it will play a positive role in developing the WND by cultivating talent, transforming results, and contributing to industrial growth.

香港新吴同乡联谊会，成立！

2月22日晚，香港新吴同乡联谊会揭牌成立。成立香港新吴同乡联谊会，是在港乡亲、吴氏宗亲增进乡谊、携手发展的共同心愿，也是新吴区更好融入国家战略、链接全球资源的重要载体。

The Hong Kong Xinwu Compatriot Association was unveiled on Feb 22, fulfilling the aspirations of Hong Kong and Xinwu natives belonging to the Wu clan to strengthen their bonds and progress together. This establishment creates a fresh platform for the Xinwu district to better align with national strategies and leverage global resources.
