首先，Steve教授和Timo教授将带大家了解如何致力于创新过程本身来寻找研究思路，并努力将其实现；以及面对研究中遇到的问题时，我们如何通过实际工作来针对性地提出一些解决思路；同时，教授们将指导大家如何基于已有想法和关键词进行文献研究并对其展开批判性阅读。
在研讨会上，学员们能够练习使用构思创意和集中思路的技巧，学会发掘创造性研究想法的技能，发现待解决的科研问题并拥有属于自己的第一个研究想法。无论是新加入研究领域的小白还是正在科研之路上下求索的研究生，都能在研讨会上有所思、有所获。
In the workshop, we will work on creative processes to find research ideas and work toward your research idea. We will do this by practically working on idea generation towards research questions. Due to the hands-on teaching in this workshop, the number of participants is limited.
The participants will use techniques for idea generation and synthesizing of ideas. For instance, literature research based on generated ideas and keywords, as well as critical reading of the literature, are further key concepts that are trained. Finally, research questions are formulated, and the participants will have first research ideas and questions as well as a toolset for further developing creative research ideas.

主讲人简介
Steve McClure
Steve老师，武汉大学测绘遥感信息工程实验室的副研究员。主要教授科学写作和方法课程，指导学生进行SCI论文投稿。具备人文地理学、社会学和艺术与设计多重学科背景。拥有数十年的设计实践经验，是创作与技术方面的专家。
Steve is a research associate at LIESMARS, Wuhan University. He helps authors prepare papers for submission to SCI journals and teaches a course in scientific writing and methods. His background is in human geography, sociology, and art and design. With decades of practical experience in design, he is an expert in creative processes and techniques.
Prof. Timo Balz
Timo老师，武汉大学测绘遥感信息工程雷达遥感领域的教授。拥有数十年的科技开发经验，深谙科技创新技巧。
Timo is Prof. for radar remote sensing with LIESMARS, Wuhan University. With decades of experience in science and technology development, he understands creative techniques in science and technology.
