土壤的可持续的开发、利用、管理、保护等是土壤学的前沿研究方向。为了更好地探讨土地退化和发展的进程,管理发展与环境之间的相互作用,研究生态和社会可持续发展, Wiley出版集团携手旗下Land Degradation & Development 期刊将于2023年3月21日14:30-16:30举办土壤学云论坛——土壤的可持续管理与利用,生态地球化学与土壤保护


本次讲座将邀请到 Land Degradation & Development 的主编Vanessa Wong,为科研人员详细介绍本刊的最新变化,论文写作和投稿的最佳实践技巧以及主编视角土壤学的发展趋势。同时还邀请了两位土壤学专家学者共同探讨土壤的可持续管理与利用,生态地球化学与土壤保护等多个新兴的研究方向和研究热点话题。为广大科研人员和研究生提供一个学术交流与思想碰撞的平台。

Vanessa Wong, Associate Professor

School of Earth Atmosphere and Environment, Monash University, Australia


Vanessa Wong, Associate Professor, research explores the spatial and temporal interactions between soils, sediments and water at a range of scales. She is interested in the role of soil-surface water-shallow groundwater processes ranging from the micron scale to the landscape scale in landscape function. She seeks to understand how these biogeochemical processes occur in a range of environments. This has allowed her to work closely with industry, government organisations (local, state and federal) and catchment management authorities to develop and apply findings from her research to improve land and water management strategies. She published 50+ articles in Land Degradation & Development, Journal of Archaeological Science, Journal of Environmental Radioactivity, Colloids and Surfaces A: Physicochemical and Engineering Aspects, Science of the Total Environment, Scientific Reports, ACS Agricultural Science & Technology etc. journals. She is Land Degradation & Development Editor in Chief.







孙建  研究员     

中国科学院青藏高原研究所


孙建博士现任中国科学院青藏高原研究所博士生导师。主要研究方向为植被地理,高原生态学等。发表文章百余篇,其中以第一作者或通讯作者名义在Science Bulletin, Plant and Soil, Agriculture, Ecosystems & Environment, Science of the Total Environment, Land Degradation & Development等国际刊物上发表论文30余篇。H指数为29。孙博士还主持并参与了国家重点研发项目课题、国家自然科学基金委等十多个项目。孙博士现任Diversity and Distribution副主编, Journal of Mountain Science编委,Conservation Letters编委,中国生态学会高寒生态专业委员会副秘书长,中国自然资源学会草地资源专业委员会委员,中国草业学会青年委员会委员,《草业科学》编委,《草地学报》编委,《草学》编委等。







刘维涛 教授
南开大学环境科学与工程学院


刘维涛博士现任南开大学环境科学与工程学院教授,博士生导师。从事污染环境生态修复与食品安全、新型污染物的环境行为及生态毒性等领域的研究。迄今已公开发表学术论文70余篇,其中以第一作者或通讯作者名义发表学术论文50余篇,包括SCI收录论文30余篇,H指数26,SCI高被引论文2篇,2篇入选“领跑者5000——中国精品科技期刊顶尖学术论文”。主持和参与了国家重大研究计划,国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金等课题10余项。编著/参编专著6部,申请国家发明专利4件,作为主要完成人,获得省部级奖项4项。现任中国自然资源学会资源循环利用专业委员会副秘书长,EI期刊《中国环境科学》青年编委、SCI期刊Land Degradation & Development、Plant Physiology and Biochemistry 和Applied Soil Ecology的Special Issue Editor。

Land Degradation & Development is an international journal which seeks to promote rational study of the recognition, monitoring, control and rehabilitation of degradation in terrestrial environments. The journal focuses on:

  • what land degradation is;

  • what causes land degradation;

  • the impacts of land degradation

  • the scale of land degradation;

  • the history, current status or future trends of land degradation;

  • avoidance, mitigation and control of land degradation;

  • remedial actions to rehabilitate or restore degraded land;

  • sustainable land management.


Land degradation may be defined as the loss of utility or potential utility through the reduction of or damage to physical, social, cultural or economic features, and/or reduction of ecosystem diversity. There may be a single cause or a complex mix of causes, some may be biogeophysical ('natural'), some socioeconomic ('human') and it is quite possible that cause(s) will be indirect, perhaps cumulative and difficult to identify. A major challenge is to learn how interactions between development and environment can be better managed to increase prospects for ecologically and socially sustainable improvements to human well-being. Development means attempts to improve human well-being or environmental quality in rich and poor nations on a sustained basis (sustainable development). Climate change affects all processes that contribute to land degradation and development, both directly and indirectly. Off-site impacts are also strongly influenced by climate. 
Papers are invited on scientific, social, economic, political and historical aspects of terrestrial environmental degradation. Also welcome are analyses presenting forecasts of trends, case studies and discussion on management, planning and policy-making relating to the promotion of ecological sustainability and the counteraction of land degradation.


In addition to original research papers, regional and thematic reviews, both invited and submitted, will be included, as will short communications, book reviews and applications of remote sensing and computer techniques. The members of the Editorial Board are drawn from a comprehensive range of disciplines and nationalities. Together with a strict refereeing procedure this will ensure Land Degradation & Development maintains a high standard and presents material from a wide range of disciplines, from interdisciplinary study and with an international coverage. Land Degradation & Development practices a non- politics/gender/religion/race policy as a science journal. Figures should not contain material such as disputed territory, and text should not contain discriminatory or derogatory material.
