On August 19, Guangzhou launched a pilot project to pay bus fares with e-CNY, a type of digital currency electronic payment. It is the first city of its kind in China to provide this service.
8月19日，广州市上线数字人民币付款码支付公交乘车费用的试点功能，成为国内同类城市中首个开通该功能的城市。
Passengers firstly open the designated bank wallet of e-CNY, and then can pay the bus fare on 10 bus lines through the "e-CNY"APP with the payment code to experience safe and convenient digital travel.
乘客开通数字人民币指定银行钱包，即可在旅游观光1线等10条公交线路，通过“数字人民币”APP使用数字人民币付款码支付乘车费用，体验安全便捷的数字化出行。
