1.以贵下贱，大得民也。

If we can make up our minds and go deep into the people, we will still get them.

只要能下定决心，深入民中，仍然会得到民心。

2.君子舍之，往吝穷也。

A gentleman should give up in time, or there will be trouble or poverty.

君子应该及时放弃，否则必有祸事，或着会导致穷困。

​

3.求而往，明也。

It is wise to stick to it.

坚定不移地去追求，这是明智之举。

​

4.屯其膏，施未光也。

Just hoard your wealth and not care about helping others. Such people don't have a bright future even if they want to make a difference.

只顾自己囤积财富，而不注意帮助别人。这样的人即使想有所作为，前景也不大光明。

5.山下出泉，蒙。

To find the spring, one must try to locate the spring accurately. That means that you have to learn the enlightenment education first.

要想发现甘泉，必须设法准确地找出泉水的位置。也就是意味着，首先必须要学习启蒙教育。
